Write a letter
The simplest way to reach A Daybook is by email. I read every message and reply when I can — usually within a week, occasionally longer.
What I answer
Notes about a piece you have read here, recommendations of books or essays I might enjoy, corrections, kind words, or quiet questions. I am bad at answering long lists of questions; one or two at a time works best.
What I do not answer
Marketing pitches, link-exchange requests, AI-generated outreach, or anything that begins with the words "Quick question." There is no SEO opportunity here and there is nothing to sell.
Hours
I sit at the desk most weekday afternoons, Central European time. Letters that arrive overnight are usually opened with the second cup of tea.
